Description
Two other towers preceded McGaffey Lookout. The first was a wood tower built in the 1920s and a 59’ Aermotor MC-39 tower constructed in 1934. The present 54’ steel tower with a 14’x14’ CL-100 metal cab with catwalk and corrugated roof went into service in 1965.
