Hurricane Mountain is a solid rock summit in the Adirondack Mountains with a stunning 360-degree view. Since 1909 it has been the home of a fire tower. The first wooded structure was replaced in 1919 with the present 35' Aermotor LS-40 tower with a metal 7'x7' cab.
