Located in the Klamath National Forest in northern California, Blue Ridge Lookout is unusual in that it is one of only three 80’ Aermotor towers with 7’x7’ cabs constructed in the state. The site was used during the Second World War as an Aircraft Warning Station and is still staffed each year for fire detection.
